Research
Identify needs and goals
The founder of the centre, Maria Millán, was clear that she wanted to carry out an innovative project, as she understands that health is achieved through caring for the body, mind and soul.
This idea had to be represented and reflected in its corporate and digital identity.
Challenges to overcome:
- A corporate identity was needed that communicated this comprehensive approach to health: body, mind, and soul.
- Inform patients about everything the centre had to offer and the concept of comprehensive healthcare.
- Guide patients in choosing service packages that integrate all disciplines of body, mind, and soul.
- Discoveries
Key Insights:
Web design & digital experience:
IDENTITY AND BRAND:
Visual identity
Branding
The name ‘Ocho’ not only had aesthetic significance, but also symbolic meaning: it represents infinity, the cycle of life, and balance. This became the focus of the design of the logo, isotype, and iconographic language.

Body
Using the infinity symbol, which links to the meaning of the word ‘eight’ and a circle, we were able to create the icon to represent El Cuerpo.

Mind
A circle divided in half symbolises the brain to represent the Mind.

Soul
The symbol of infinity once again serves to represent the shape of a heart that symbolises the Soul.
Brand applications:
I worked on the complete development of the brand’s visual universe: from the creation of the logo and its graphic system to the design of its corporate applications.
